I get bored easily, so I like to keep my hands in several different projects at once. It keeps me busy and out of trouble, and always thinking. Below are some things that I've been working on, and bring me great joy. Check them out, you might find them interesting too!

Since I have had a hard time succumbing to the whole 9-5 regime thing, I have had to find many random things that will help me make ends meet. Being a puppeteer doesn't always pay the bills, (ok, let's be honest, it rarely ever paid the bills) so I have had to become "Queen of the Random Job." And find legitimate ways to fund my life.

Over time, I have helped others find various ways to help supplement their income, and started QueenoftheRandomJob.com to share what I have learned with the world. It's a useful site for someone who needs some extra cash, but can't work in the traditional sense.

I'm Armenian. That's usually one of the first things that people learn about me, as Armenian's tend to have huge national pride. (and I'm certainly no exception!) It was my father's parents who came over to Canada, and then the US during the genocide, and who sent him back to repatriate the country during the time of Stalin. For years, my family has begged to hear the story of his 13 years trapped behind the Iron Curtain...how he managed to survive by playing basketball, even though the KGB kept an ever-present, watchful eye.

My father, Tom Mooradian, is a gifted storyteller...he recounts the atrocities and the kinships with vivid detail. I guarantee his memoir, The Repatriate, will leave you astounded, wondering how he managed to return to the US alive.

I developed wanderlust somewhere in young adulthood, and moved a lot, (spending less than a year in most places) I found it difficult to break into any particular art "scene." Over time, I developed a huge list of resources geared to local artists, musicians, and performers of clubs or venues, or even restaurants that would display local work.

In time, this grew to Random Acts of Art, an online resource geared to local artists.
