What is Mystery Shopping?
Mystery Shopping is another aspect of Market Research. Mystery Shoppers are needed to go into establishments to give honest and objective evaluations on products and services they receive. The businesses then use this information to improve productivity, gauge competition, provide training, and reward employees. (Back to the Top)

Who Hires Mystery Shoppers?
Mystery Shopping Companies hire shoppers. Don't bother calling up your local stores to see if you can get assignments from them. It's the Mystery Shopping Companies that hire and pay shoppers. (Back to the Top)

Are You a Mystery Shopping Company?
Currently, no. I used to have my own clients and hired shoppers, but I found it really was a full time job...I don't like jobs. I like having random things that give me income, so I can pursue more fun things like Puppetry! So, I stopped taking on clients, and I started referring whatever business I got to Mystery Shopping companies that I know do good work, and treat their shoppers fairly. (Back to the Top)

Can You Get Me a Job as a Mystery Shopper?
It is up to you to sign on with companies and find your own work. I have done as much as I can with providing a TON of information through my CD Rom, as well as legitimate companies to work for, I also send out a newsletter to people who have purchased my products, and I'm available for ongoing support. But, what it comes down to is you actually getting on the computer to do your own work! (Back to the Top)

Do I Have to Buy Your CD Rom to Get Started in Mystery Shopping?
No, of course not! You can Google "Mystery Shopping" and find companies that way, or just sign on with the ones in the Market Research section of the phone book. However, if you want to cut down on the learning curve, find out the common scams, learn how to correctly fill out forms, and have a list of 160+ companies that hire shoppers...well, then you're better off buying the CD Rom. Trust me, you won't regret it. (Plus, I'm currently offering $10 off for the first 50 customers!) (Back to the Top)

What is Your Return Policy on the Training Program?
Due to the informational nature of the program, I don't offer refunds. (I'm sure you can understand how someone could purchase the program, watch and learn, and then return it for a full refund!) But, if the product that you receive is damaged or defective in any way, just return it, and I'll send you a new one immediately! (Back to the Top)

What is Your Privacy Policy?
I promise I will never sell or rent your contact information. Ever. To Anyone. I hate spam as much as you do! If you sign up to receive my free report about mystery shopping, I will contact you a few times a month to give you updates about the site and other mystery shopping adventures. That's it. I'm not going to pass on your information to any other company for any other purpose...ever. I've tried to run newsletters before, and be more involved in contacting my list, but in all honesty, life gets in the way, and I forget. So, I decided, (and my subscribers agree) that a few emails a month to give updates was sufficient. (Back to the Top)

I'm Kind of Confused. What is Queen of the Random Job, and How Does it Relate to Mystery Shopping and This Website?
Ok, here's the deal: I'm Bethany...also known as "Queen Buzzy" because, well, "Buzzy" is my nickname, and I run a website called Queen of the Random Job. On that site I have other legitimate work at home ideas and oppourtunities. All legit...most of which I've done myself. I am also a puppeteer, artist, and performer, and run a website called Random Acts of Art, which has resources for local artists. One of the things I've done to support my puppetry habit is Mystery Shopping. When I started teaching classes and getting my own clients, I had to come up with a name for my business, since the others didn't really suit, and "Shop Incognito" was born.

So, to sum up: Shop Incognito, Queen of the Random Job, and Random Acts of Art, are all run by me, the increasingly overwhelmed Bethany Mooradian...I work out of my home, I have no staff...and this isn't even my full time gig. I'm not some huge, crazy corporation with no face or feelings. So please be nice to me...I'm having a rough day. (Back to the Top)

How do I get your Free Guide to Mystery Shopping?
Just fill out the form to get started. I promise I won't sell or rent your information, and you'll get updates about the business of shopping a few times a month. From time to time, companies do contact me to help them fill assignments, and when that happens, you will be the first on my list to receive offers! (Back to the Top)

I'd Like to be an Affiliate and Sell Your Products!
Great! Unfortunately, with the move to our new servers, our affiliate software has had a few issues. Just feel free to contact me and I'll let you know when we'll be up and running again. Feel free to tell me a little bit about yourself, your experience in the industry, and how you plan on promoting my products! (Back to the Top)

What Charities Do You Donate To?
I firmly believe in giving back to the community, and donate a portion of the sales of my products to worthwhile organizations. I choose a different organization each month to support, and focus mainly on those that deal with environmental issues, humanitarian efforts, arts-related organizations, and those for the Armenian community. If you know of a worthwhile organization in need, please feel free to tell me about them! (Back to the Top)
