SAMS LOG NEEDS BETA TESTERS!
“SAMS” stands for: Shoppers Assignments Made Simple, and it’s a program that I created with a developer friend of mine to help keep track of all the little details of an assignment.
As a Mystery Shopper, you will be working for more than one company…you just will. When I was shopping on a regular basis, I was signed on with over 150 companies, and worked for about 50 routinely. With each assignment, you need to keep track of the Mystery Shopping company name, the name of the business, the payment for the assignment, when it’s due, when you completed, it, any reimbursement expenses, mileage, invoicing, and a whole host of other things.
When I first started shopping, I developed a system that included having file folders for each company, an excel spreadsheet that helped me keep track of when I could expect payment, and a dry-erase calendar, as well as my day-planner to help me schedule asisgnments. It was a bit overwhelming, and sometimes I felt like I spent more time planning and organizing my shops than I did actually completing them!
So I shared my plight with my developer friend, Tristan, who set out to help me create a solution.
The result is SAMS Log, a comprehensive assignment tool geared towards you, the shopper and independent contractor, in mind.
We have finished the initial developing phase, and I, (as well as some of my friends) have been testing it out. So far, everything looks good, but I want your opinion as well!
If you’d like to be a Beta Tester for SAMS Log please feel free to contact me. There is NO CHARGE to test out this program, and you can use it for scheduling other things in your life like doctor appointments, soccer games, and birthdays!
When all testing is completed, you’ll receive a free copy of the updated SAMS Log, right before we’re ready to release to the public. I’ll also be giving out monetary compensation based on the number of weeks you’ve tested the program, so the earlier you contact us, the more money you’ll make!
Testing should begin in early 2008 and we need people with a PC operating Windows XP or later, basic computer skills, and available for at least a month to test.
